There once were gods, hands in the heavens to bend and shape and mold the world below. But their day came and they lost their being, erupting like many fireworks among the clouds, ancient and glowing embers ejected, nomadic specks destined for earth, settling with the dirt. Lost. And from the dirt and dust rose mankind, shaped by will and full of cognizance to take to hearth those shining ores so that they might shed blood to write the words of others.

My name is Max Malone and I am a nineteen-year-old English student at Finlandia University. I was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
